Another new purse= sold

4th of July

Here is my 4th of July purse. I decided I wanted to be patriotic and carry a holiday purse. So I sat down yesterday and made this one.
Haven't been sewing machine. Waiting on the new machine. Just a few more weeks and I'll have it.

The weather has been so beautiful that it makes it hard to sit down and sew. Plus without a/c I don't care to be under the sewing light. I prefer a real sunburn :) But with some rainy days ahead maybe I'll get some more sewing done. I have about 6 purses to make.

Birthday present

When I made my John Deere purse and posted the very first pics of it a friend who lives in Pennsylvania said she had birthday coming up and this would make a great gift. Well I ran out to the store later that week and bought more material to make one. This one turned out better than the first. Now her little girl is wanting one and I see she has a birthday coming up so I may just have to make a smaller version of her mommy's purse.
